Today's tutorial is based off a bag I've made to sell on etsy
(you can check out the finished bag here for sale on etsy), but today I'll go through it step by step so you can make it yourself!
Note: If sewing this by machine, when sewing the sides together to so with the right sides facing each other, & machine stich together. If sewing by hand, use a blanket stitch in a decrative thread colour (the same colour as your contrast colour) to sew them together (
here's a handy video tutorial for it!)
. You may also want to hem the top of the bag (with an allowance of 1 cm - this means fold 1 cm of fabric over, pin, and sew together) before sewing the straps on.
Note: Again, either machine stitch or blanet stitch the straps along each edge of the strap to the bag.
